Our Story
This story is filled with connections and God’s Providence with bringing this couple together making it seem like it was meant to be.
The groom was living in the Nashville, TN area and the bride was considering moving to that area (from Albuquerque) for work and even had potential roommates lined up. The groom ended up moving to Albuquerque, NM to visit a friend and the bride ended up traveling Virginia for work. Neither were actively looking for a relationship.
This couple eventually met on TikTok. The bride came across a post by a creator about Christian singles but ended up losing the post. However, the post ended up resurfacing, which is weird because once you lose a post on TikTok, it is super rare if you ever run across that video again. This video requested that true followers of Christ who were single to make a comment and connect to possibly find their potential spouse.
The bride reached out to the groom and found out that he was living in Albuquerque (which she thought was interesting). Two years prior to this, she was told prophetically, that her future spouse may not be from New Mexico but would be in New Mexico. They ended up following each other on TikTok to try to get to know each other.
Both were still hesitant to move too quickly but were slowly starting to fall for each other. Both started checking boxes they didn’t even know they had. This led to them sharing their first “I love you” around Valentine’s Day of the following year and officially starting their relationship together.

She brings her heart of gold into everything she does, whether she’s creating arts and crafts masterpieces or setting sail on her next favorite cruise. Always generous with her time and love, she lights up the lives of everyone around her. And if you ever hear her say, “Remember what you heard,” you know it’s going to be something unforgettable!

The groom is a quiet soul with kind eyes that reflect his caring nature. A lover of Disney cartoons and someone who finds magic in the simple things, he’s always ready to listen and lend a helping hand. His calm demeanor is matched by an infectious laugh that lights up every photograph, leaving joy in its wake. True to his belief that “truth is greater than fact,” he brings a steady, thoughtful presence to all who know him.
Our Proposal
After sharing a night of prayer and worship with friends to bring in the new year, they left to share more intimate conversations about desires, fears, hopes and dreams and even marriage which led to the groom asking for her hand in marriage.
With no hesitation she replied with an ABSOLUTELY YES !
